Need help with daughters 1st grade saxon phonics?
We live in Florida and have a daughter in !st grade who”s being taught Saxon Phonics and Spelling in school. It consists of breves, macrons, digraphs etc. Without sounding like total idiots, my husband and I are having a hard time understanding the concept, so we can be of some help with her homework. Does anyone know a laymen’s terms website or have information that could possibly clarify this for us. It would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,
ANSWER: I would talk to the teacher. Each one has there own specific style so many websites may not help. Call a parent teacher meeting.)
